Since 1938 Showbiz Christchurch (formally Christchurch Operatic) has been bringing together like-minded people with an interest and passion for musical theatre shows and productions.
Showbiz Musical Shows Membership
Membership of Showbiz gives you the opportunity to join and support an organisation that makes a significant contribution to the performing arts in Christchurch and to gain numerous benefits.
If you have an interest in attending our shows, performing in our shows, or learning about the technical side of putting on a show then you will enjoy being a member of Showbiz Christchurch.
Benefits:
- If you enjoy attending our productions you will receive complimentary tickets (conditions apply see below) and preferential booking facilities for all Showbiz Christchurch productions.
- If you are a performer you will receive advance notice of our future shows and auditions and have the opportunity to perform in our quality productions under the direction of our renowned artistic teams.
- If you have an interest in gaining theatre technical experience, costume and props making you can join our team of talented and friendly volunteers who work on our shows and learn valuable skills from the best in the theatre business.
- All members receive the Showbiz newsletter keeping you up to date with our shows, people and providing a valuable link to the theatre world. Members are also invited to social events where they can meet and enjoy the company of other members with similar interests.
- All this, and more, can be yours for only $100.00 Adult Single, per calendar year. Membership (over 16).
- Fully paid membership for two or more continuous calendar years entitles members to two free tickets to one major production each year for adult members.
