Briar Patrick
Sister Act is Briar's third show with Showbiz Christchurch, having performed in the 2015 production of Monty Python’s Spamalot and the 2016 production of Evita. She has also performed with the North Canterbury Musical Society, Magnitude Productions and MUSOC.
Briar’s favourite roles were Maria (alternate) in The Sound of Music (North Canterbury Musical Society) and Constance Sack in the New Zealand premiere of Rock of Ages (Magnitude Productions).
Having gained a Diploma in Performance Speech & Drama from Trinity College and a Teaching Diploma from the NZ Modern School of Music (NZMSM), Briar teaches singing and drama at Hartley School of Performing Arts. She made her directorial debut in 2016 with the school's junior production of Jack and the Beanstalk.
