Catherine is a graduate of the University of Canterbury (Master of Science, Organisational Psychology). She has also trained in the Christchurch International Musical Theatre Summer School (CIMTSS) Emerging Professionals programme.

Catherine has been working professionally as a musical theatre performer and accredited singing teacher. When not performing, she works as an Organisational Psychology consultant.

We Will Rock You is Catherine’s fourth Showbiz production, having previously appeared in Les Misérables, as a soloist in Broadway Hitmen, and in the cast of Evita.

Her other theatre credits include: Jesus Christ Superstar (The Court Theatre); Lucy in Jekyll and Hyde, Amneris in Aida (NCMS); Joanne in RENT and Martha in Spring Awakening (MUSOC). She also performed as the Witch in excerpts from Into the Woods, and Petra from A Little Night Music (CIMTSS).

While Catherine’s passion lies in musical theatre, she has also  performed as a soloist in a number of concerts and cabarets throughout the South Island in pop, rock and classical genres.
