Chuana McKenzie
Chuana completed her studies at Andrew Hallsworth's full time musical theatre course at Patrick Studios Australia in 2014.
Highlights of her studies included writing and starring in a Cabaret show, performing in several showcases, playing the title roles in excerpts from Mame and Gypsy, and playing Frau Bergmann in a production of Spring Awakening.
She learned dialect with international voice and dialect coach Anna McCrossin-Owen, acting with Glenda Linscott, Colette Mann, Janet Andrewartha and Jan Russ, and dance with many instructors, including Andrew Hallsworth.
Singing is her first love and she has trained under many teachers, including Tim Smith (Vocal Alchemy), Naomi Eyres (Estill) and, more recently, with Ravil Atlas with whom she completed her TOSCA (Teachers of Singing Certification Award) Certificate.
In New Zealand she performed in Aida, Blood Brothers and Jesus Christ Superstar (NCMS).
Chuana is now juggling work, singing teaching and the joys of motherhood.
