jacqueline doherty
Jacqueline has always had a passion for performing, developing a particular interest in musical theatre during her high school years that she has since carried on with. In 2017 she performed as Liesl in The Sound of Music (NCMS), Wendla in Spring Awakening (MUSOC), and Kathy in Company (NCMS).
Aside from shows, Jacqueline has been heavily involved with music, including: studying voice through the SMP programme, composing for the Sheliah Winn Shakespeare Festival, singing in the New Zealand Secondary School's Choir, and receiving a singing scholarship with the Mid-Canterbury Summer Singing School.
Recently, she was one of the 32 performers selected for the Emerging Professionals class of CIMTSS 2018.
During the day, Jacqueline works full time as a legal secretary, saving up towards moving overseas to study musical theatre.
