Karen has been singing since childhood. A rock singer at heart, she fell in love with classical music and music theatre through amazing teachers and family.

Karen has performed previously with Showbiz Christchurch in The Phantom of the Opera and then in Broadway Hitmen. She has also sung in bands; at fundraisers and weddings; and in high school and university productions and choirs. She was one of the founding members of Christchurch Pop’s Choir, and is a member of Atlas Voices. In the future, Karen hopes to somehow combine her loves of opera and circus.
