Kate Taylor
Kate graduated in 2005 from Ara Music Arts with a Bachelor of Music, majoring in jazz vocals, and followed with a Graduate Diploma in Events Management.
She is a well-known voice in Christchurch, performing regularly around the city at various venues, corporate events and festivals. She is the vocal programme leader at Ara Music Arts, and has worked behind the scenes for The Cavell Leitch New Zealand Jazz and Blues Festival and World Buskers Festival.
Her theatre credits include: Rock of Ages (Magnitude Productions); Badjelly the Witch (The Court Theatre); Chicago (Ashburton Musical Society); It's a One-Hit-Wonderful Life (Independent); Love Bites (NIDA); Sweeney Todd and Sister Act (Showbiz Christchurch).
Kates current musical projects focus on her own independent 12 Pianists Project, and fronting and co-running the All Girl Big Band which consists of 19 Christchurch based female artists.
