Lou Days
A natural born ‘show off’ Lou’s first singing gig was in a competition at the Industries Fair at the tender age of nine. She competed and came… second. Though she didn’t win, it ignited a love for singing and performance that has seen her sing at more gigs than she has had hot dinners.
In 2005 Lou performed the role of Mama Morton in the touring production Chicago alongside British comedian Michael Barrymore and veteran New Zealand star Tina Cross. Her other performance credits include: Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls and Maggie in 42nd Street (Palmerston North Musical Society); and Kafka's Amerika (Free Theatre).
For Showbiz Lou has appeared in Hair, WestEnd to Broadway, WestEnd to Broadway II, and as Motormouth in Hairspray.
Lou is also part of the comedy pop duo The Funky Hot Mamas who have been performing together since 2001.
