Matthew started performing in musicals at high school and landed his first big role as the voice of Audrey 2 in a high school production of Little Shop of Horrors.

He studied at the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art and graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Performing Arts (Music Theatre).

Matthew made his Showbiz debut in the 2016 production of Hairspray and played Eddie Souther in Sister Act. 

His other theatre credits include: Romeo and Juliet (The Court Theatre) and the role of Vittorio Vidal in Sweet Charity (NASDA).
