Rocky Fidow
Les Misérables is Rocky’s first production with Showbiz Christhcurch and his first musical in seven years.
In 2013 he graduated from the New Zealand College of Performing Arts with a Bachelor of Applied Arts (Performing Arts).
He was last on stage in 2015 in his own one man play Secret-E: An Adventure written to commemorate the soldiers killed in the battles at Chunuk Bair in 1915. He stepped away from the stage for a few years to focus on his job as a pastoral carer and advisor for Otago University residents at Knox College. He always knew that one day he would return to the stage and has been waiting for the chance to perform in Les Misérables again.
His theatre credits include: Miss Saigon and Dusty (Musical Theatre Dunedin); Mister-E, More Madcap & Mayhem and Romeo & Juliet (NZ College of Performing Arts); The Great Piratical Rumbustifacation (NZKidzstuff) and Les Misérables (AVT25).
