Ruairi has been dancing from the age of nine years and since then has performed in competitions and workshops in New Zealand and Australia.

In 2016 he was nominated for the National Young Performer of the Year for tap dance. Ruairi hopes to continue to study dance after leaving high school.

Sister Act was Ruairi's first production with Showbiz Christchurch.
