Shannon-Aimee graduated from the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art (NASDA) in 2016 with a Bachelor of Performing Arts (Music Theatre), she has since continued her studies by pursuing an honours degree in Media Arts (Music Theatre) through a collaboration of NASDA and WINTEC.
Theatre and performing have been a passion from a young age, and she has been working professionally in various mediums both in the UK and here in New Zealand. She is also a proud graduate of the Christchurch International Musical Theatre Summer School, and a member of Equity New Zealand.
Her first performance with Showbiz was in the on-stage chorus for the 2017 production An Evening of Rodgers and Hammerstein Classics. Her other theatre credits include: Ragtime, The Collective, Working: The Musical and The Skriker (NASDA); The Events (The Court Theatre); La bohème and Noyes Fludde (New Zealand Opera).
