Terry came to Christchurch from Ireland in 2016 and made his Southern Hemisphere debut in the 2016 Showbiz production of Hairspray.

He studied Drama and English at Queen's University Belfast and later completed his Masters in Creative Writing for Script. He also trained at the Lyric Theatre Belfast, Northern Ireland’s National Theatre.

Terry’s previous theatre credits include: Legally Blonde (Grand Opera House, Belfast), 55 Days (Lyric Theatre Belfast), The 39 Steps, Endgame, Posh, The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui and Playboy of the Western World (Queen’s University Players Belfast), The Bull (An Grianán Theatre, Letterkenny), Rent (Mandela Hall Belfast), Les Misérables (Craigavon Arts Centre and Market Place Theatre, Armagh), and Peter Pan (Market Place Theatre).
