Tusi’s passion for musical theatre first began when she performed as one of the Pink Ladies in her high school production of Grease in 2010.

She studied vocals and drama at Excel School of Performing Arts in 2012 and graduated with a Certificate of Performance, majoring in Music (vocals). In 2013 she was one of only a few students selected to perform with Excel as part of a 20 week nationwide tour of high schools, theatres and churches throughout New Zealand.

Tusi has also studied at Vision College and graduated in 2014 with a Diploma in Contemporary Music (Vocals). She now works full time and performs gigs in her spare time.

Sister Act is Tusi’s first production with Showbiz Christchurch.
