Auditions for The Saunders & Co Season of Jersey Boys

Showbiz Christchurch is seeking performers for our upcoming production of Jersey Boys.
The Four Seasons have been cast. Now it’s time to find the rest of the company.
Showbiz Christchurch is now accepting audition applications for all remaining roles in the Saunders & Co Season of Jersey Boys.
The Tony Award-winning musical tells the extraordinary true story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, packed with unforgettable hits including Sherry, Big Girls Don’t Cry, Walk Like a Man, December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night) and Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.
We’re seeking performers to help bring this electrifying story to life, from powerhouse featured roles to the ensemble that will create the world of this iconic musical.
Auditions will take place Saturday 7th June and Sunday 8th June.
Performers will be asked to prepare audition material for one role they wish to be considered for.

Audition Requirements
Auditionees will be asked to prepare the following:
• The provided sides for one character they wish to be considered for
• The provided music cut for that character
• A one minute cut of a song of their choice in the style of the show
Music for your chosen song:
Auditionees may bring a backing track and connect to the audition room speakers via Bluetooth, or bring sheet music for the provided accompanist. Backing tracks are preferred and will be used for the provided Jersey Boys music cuts.
A dance call will take pace for all auditionees on Sunday June 8th.
Please note that all roles are offered on a voluntary basis.
Video Submissions
If you are unable to attend the scheduled auditions in person, you may submit a video audition.
You must still complete the audition registration form, regardless of whether you audition in person or by video.
Audition materials, including sides (script pages) and music cuts, will be provided after your application has been submitted.
Video submissions must be received by 5:00pm, Friday June 6th.
Submission instructions will be included with the audition materials.
